J&W Medical LLC was formed in 2002 as an ultrasound product development group, with the mission to develop advanced solutions in the field of biomedical ultrasound.

J&W Medical principals have decades of experience in diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, acoustical signal processing, and materials processing – as well as in military sonar and non-destructive testing. This broad range of experience uniquely allows J&W Medical to bring declassified military technology to bear on complex problems in the medical ultrasound space.

We are a complete ultrasound product development group, with the (patented) knowledge, talent, and broad experience to address technical problems on a total systems basis, and to offer our clients cost-effective top-down solutions. J&W bridges the gap between academia and the commercialization of products in the above areas, with a focus on the development of supporting intellectual property.

We are available for short or long-term consulting projects, and are actively seeking corporate partners in the medical devices industry for technology transfer and licensing.
